Only six practices left

I hope you all had a fun and/or relaxing Spring Break! We only have six practices left, but three tournaments to attend! We will practice at the Middle School on Tuesday and Thursday this week at 1761 W 820 N, Provo, UT. We still have much to learn and expect we will make these last practices our best of the season.

The homework assignment due at the beginning of practice on Thursday, April 11, is to read the paper about Athletic Toughness out loud to somebody and discuss the answers you write at the end with them.

Our Power League tournament this Saturday, April 13, is at Club V South at 142 N 1800 W St, Lindon, UT 84042. Our team plays at 8:00 AM which means we should be warming up on the court as a team by 7:30 AM at the latest. Thank you to the Galbraith family for providing food for the players and coaches this upcoming weekend.

Our tournament on April 19-20 will be at the Karl Malone Training Center on both days at 525 E 200 S, Lehi, UT 84043 (Club 801 volleyball facility). Our team is currently scheduled to ref first at 4:00 PM. I would like all of the players to be in the gym that Friday by 3:40 PM at the latest.

We have booked rooms for the coaches and players at the Quality Inn at 2002 South Hwy 89, US-91, Logan UT for Friday, April 26 through Saturday, April 27. Parents are responsible for arranging the player’s transportation to and from the tournament (including to and from the hotel). I would like all the players to be at the hotel by 2 PM on Friday, April 26, to check-in and get food and snacks from me for that night. We will drive to the Mtn Peak Volleyball Facility (725 W 1940 S, Logan, UT 84321) at 3 PM. Friends and family are welcome to book their own rooms at the same hotel or can get a good rate at the nearby La Quinta Inn listed at the bottom of the Champions Challenge website. We will be providing all the players with snacks throughout the tournament, dinner on Friday night, breakfast (at the hotel) on Saturday morning, lunch on Saturday at the tourney, and dinner after the tournament in Logan.

We have a busy few weeks! Please let me know if you have any questions.
