Thank you to the Loveland and Reid families for providing the incredible food and energy this past week. It was so much fun to watch our team bounce back after Friday and play with such intensity on Saturday. I’m proud of how they played.
Our team captains have asked if we can all go watch The Miracle Season (a volleyball movie) on Tuesday night during our usual practice time. The closest place to watch it at that time is at the AMC Classic Provo 12 (at the Riverwoods). The movie will cost $6 each, starts at 7:55 PM, and is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes long. This theater does not have assigned seating so you can purchase your tickets when you arrive. The captains and I will get there early to save enough seats for our team. Family members are welcome to join us!
The homework assignment due at the beginning of practice on Wednesday, May 2, is to write down a SMART practice goal in your player folder along with the principles and/or keys to achieve that goal. Remember to bring your folders to the practice/scrimmage! I am still trying to finalize where our scrimmage will be for Wednesday (it could be at Club V South – not Club Utah). I’m hoping to get them to come play us at our gym in the High School on Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. I will send more details out through the GroupMe messaging app as soon as they are finalized.
We have our last Power League tournament May 11-12! I hope to have more details about our playing location(s) soon.
